A draped fabric canopy that takes whatever color the moment needs: production design for Cody Carnes’ Firm Foundation live album recording, with lighting designed alongside Johnny Hook.
FIRM FOUNDATION / LIVE ALBUM RECORDING
- (01) challenge
- A live album recording for Cody Carnes. The stage had to work for the people in the room and for the film crew.
- (02) approach
- One soft gesture instead of many hard ones: a fabric canopy over the stage that takes the color of each moment. Renders and concepts came first. Lighting was designed with Johnny Hook, who programmed it, and Jacob Boyles was live creative director.
